Spoilt for choice

Next Wednesday John Mackay is giving a talk in York denying most of science and arguing that the earth is practically brand new.

Next Tuesday Steve Fuller is giving a talk in Leeds denying (revising) most of the history surrounding the enlightenment (it's all thanks to Intelligent Design apparently).

Two in a week would overload my woo-ometer.

Which one should I go to?

  1. Hi psi, I've notified Grace Fletcher-Hall, the academic and student welfare officer of the York Uni Students Union, about Mackay's talk (on Wednesday 21st according to his itinerary - the Next Gen fitness club is very popular with students), and tried to gather some support among fellow students to turn up and refute him. I can't be in York myself this week, otherwise I certainly would have gone myself.

Here's a link to the event:

  2. Hi John,

Thanks for the correction - I was mixing up the dates.

I am heading to see Mackay I think.
